MATTIE MAY BELLE MILLER,

Daughter of William and Tishie Miller, was born

at Delaware, Ohio, July 27, 1887, and died October

26, 1891, aged 4 years, 2 months and 29 days.

She was baptised by Rev. Bowers at the age of

6 months.

The Angel of Death came noiselessly,

Among the lilies and the sod;

He chose the bud of a lily fair,

And bore her away to God.

She heard a voice we could not hear,

Which said she could not stay;

She saw a hand we could not see,

That beckoned her away.

Then farewell, our darling Mattie,

It will not be very long,

Till we, too, shall cross death's river,

Joining with the ransomed throng.
