The memorial card

From the funeral card

In loving rememberance of Anna Berkircher, died Feb. 2, 1894 at age 53 years, 2 months

A poem runs at the top and bottom of the card's front, with her name set in a Bible design; the back states the card was manufactured by Geo. Mitchell of Middletown, Ohio. Sources differ on her birth year: our archive's index entry gives 1846, while the card's stated age of 53 years, 2 months implies a birth circa late 1840. Both readings are preserved.
