IN LOVING REMEMBRANCE OF

Margaret Brisco, Died Aug 29, 1903

Gone but not forgotten

A precious one from us has gone,

A voice we loved is stilled;

A place is vacant in our home

Which never can be filled.

God in his wisdom has recalled

The boon his love had given,

And though the body slumbers here,

The soul is safe in Heaven.

Our original posting described the card: at the top two birds hold a banner reading "IN LOVING REMEMBRANCE OF"; the name and death date appear in an oval design, with a second banner reading "Gone but not forgotten" above the poem. The photograph that originally accompanied this record is no longer held in the archive.
