IN LOVING REMEMBRANCE OF MARY C COOK

Aged 56 years 9 months 23 days

Dearest Mother thou hast left us, And thy loss we deeply feel; But tis God that has bereft us, He can all our sorrows heal.

Yet again we hope to meet thee When the day of life is fled, And in Heaven with joy to greet thee Where no farewell tear is shed.

The original is approximately 4″ × 6″, black printing on white card. The contributor writes that Mary C. Cook "has been an unknown factor in my Jekinson/Reeves/Cray/Thornburg research" and offers a photocopy of the card to anyone in her family line.
