The Angel of Peace

In Loving Remembrance of

Louis A. Cornic,

Died Dec. 18, 1928,

Age 7 years.

We had a little treasure once, He was our joy and pride, We loved him, ah perhaps too well, For soon he slept and died,

All is dark within our dwelling, Lonely are our hearts to-day, For the one we loved so dearly, Has forever passed away.

The card carries no place of death or burial. It is the same Wendell 'Angel of Peace' memorial-card template used for the Bell, William (1929) and Cornelius, Kathern V. (1918) cards, with pronouns matching a boy. The birth year 1921 is taken from the 1921–1928 dating in our archive's index entry for this record.
