Transcribed from the photograph — Kornelia's card only (the Memorare prayer is cut off mid-word at the bottom edge of the photograph; [...] marks the missing text). The contributor writes: "One card has a picture of Mary and Joseph and Jesus (as a child) in a field of flowers. The back contains personal information about Kornelia Gajda (born Sept. 4, 1886 and died Oct. 13, 1975) and a Memorial. George J. Sandowski, funeral director. This card is in perfect condition and is enclosed in plastic or laminated. The second has a picture of the crucifixion and information about Mateusz Gajda. The card is in language other than English and funeral was from Hegewisch Memorial Funeral Home. I think Hegewisch is on the south side of Chicago. Interment for Kornelia was in Holy Cross Cemetery" — Mateusz's card is not photographed here. Our archive's index entry spells the name Cornelia; the card itself spells it Kornelia and confirms she was born in Poland in 1886.
