Who departed this life October 28th, 1904.

Aged 59 years.

And was interred at St. Mary's Parish Church Widnes.

A small double-fold mourning card. The right panel (dedication, name, dates, cemetery) is clearly legible; the verse on the left panel is printed in smaller type and is not fully legible at this scan's resolution, though it appears to open "A faithful friend, a wife so dear..." and its second stanza is recognizable as the common Victorian verse "Sleep on, dear mother, and take thy rest, they loved thee well, but Jesus loves thee best." The card was found in Liverpool, England. The original page adds: "Widnes is near Runcorn Cheshire England". Birth year recalculated to circa 1844 from the card's stated age of 59 at her October 28, 1904 death; the original page's stated birth year of 1855 didn't match that arithmetic and appears to have been a transcription error.
