A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we love is stilled;
A place is vacant in our home,
Which never can be filled.
God in His wisdom has recalled,
The boon His love had given;
And though the body slumbers here,
The soul is safe in Heaven.

The original page notes: found in the United States — St. Louis. The memorial card is made from a heavy black card stock with a gold gilt beveled edge and print, and measures 6 1/2″ tall × 4 1/4″ wide.
