A friend that never faltered,
But willingly didst share,
The weight of every burden,
The pain of every care.
Prayer
O, Jesus, open wide Thy heart,
And let him rest therein;
We give him wholly, not in part,
To Thee his Spouse, his King.
Merciful Jesus, grant Eternal rest to his soul.
