DIED.
Nora Lacy, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Lacy, died August 12, 1897, at the home of her parents, after a brief illness of two weeks. Her death was caused by summer complaint.
She has gone, our dearest Nora, To the land that knows no pain, To the home of many mansions, And we look for her in vain.
Father, mother, little brother, What can we say to comfort you? Every place and every instant Brings fresh thoughts and tears anew.
But oh, what a consolation! When she answered to the call, Of Him who watches o'er his loved ones, To know that she was loved by all.
When she crosses o'er the river, The Lord will meet her on the shore, And oh, what a glad reunion! Meet to part no more.
They are watching there for loved one, So let us drive the tears away And prepare for that re-union In a home so fair and gay.
Let us not think how she suffered, Now so free from care and pain, For we know now that she is happy And our loss is but her gain.
