Contributor's notes & card translation

WAS A "Kaufmannswitwe in Unterdietfurt". MEMBER OF THE MOTHERS ASSOCIATION & HOLDER OF 3 MEDALS. DIED ON THE 18th NOVEMBER, 1929, AGED 81

English translation of the card text: In pious remembrance in prayer of the well-born lady Therese Lipf, merchant's widow in Unterdietfurt, member of the Mothers' Association and holder of [medals/decorations, partly illegible], who, after a lengthy illness, well provided with the reception of the holy last sacraments, passed away blessedly in the Lord on 18 November 1929 at the age of 81 years. R.I.P. [The lower lines are partly legible indulgence prayers, e.g. "Merciful Jesus..." (7 years and 7 quarantines indulgence), Pius IX, 24 September 1846 (100 days' indulgence); "Sweet Heart of Mary..." Pius IX, 30 September 1852 (300 days' indulgence).] These small prayer cards (Sterbebilder) were given to family and friends in the Roman Catholic tradition.
