Sénécal (Senator, died Montreal October 11, 1885) and Lieutenant Col. J. Dansereau (died Verchères January 7, 1888). Sideways marginal text, likely a sponsoring publication advertisement, is too small to read reliably. The original page speculates that Henri Vassal may have been an Indian agent.
