This monument stands outside the Elmvale branch library — Elmvale is the main village within Flos Township, and this panel's names overlap heavily with the Flos Township panel on the Waverley cenotaph (waverley-cenotaph-simcoe-county) a few km away, evidently two separate physical war memorials for the same township's fallen. Minor differences between the two transcriptions (e.g. this panel shows three Bells — C., H., L. — where Waverley's Flos panel shows only "Howard Bell") likely reflect legibility differences between the two sets of photographs rather than a transcription error on either side; both are transcribed faithfully from their own monument. Two initials marked [?] where the engraving was hard to read.
