I went and had a hunt for Persie Parker 1819 ~ 1881 in the 1860 1870 1880 United States Federal Census on Ancestry.com. I found several individuals of interest as you can see below. Now when I first started to look for Persie I thought I was looking for a man. But the best candidate I can find is a woman, Persis Parker. There are many thousands of genealogy entries for the Parker surname.
