This plate's given names were not legible to the site's original transcriber, who recorded it only as "?, ?, Rockwell." A closer look at the photograph resolves the name as Avery P. Rockwell.

Possible family connection — unconfirmed

The 1880 US Federal Census household documented on Emily Rockwell's record — headed by Winthrop Rockwell (b. abt 1837), with wife Emily and son Charles W. Rockwell — fits a plausible generation gap below Avery: a son born about 1837 would put Avery in his early twenties at the birth. This isn't confirmed by any source, but would explain why all three plates were kept and transcribed together.
