From the funeral card

Sarah, wife of George Coxon, age 34 died 1889.

The contributor writes: "Here are two English funeral cards for members of the Coxon family in Osmaston, Derbyshire, dated 1888 and 1889. There is an envelope addressed to Alfred Coxon which would have fit either card."

A companion card for her son Edward Coxon (died 1888) was preserved with this one. The birth year 1855 is taken from the 1855–1889 dating in our archive's index entry for this record.
