BORN AT SEA, JUNE 4, 1842.

DIED NEAR NAPOLEON, RIPLEY CO., IND., MARCH 24, 1923.

AGE: 80 Years, 9 Months and 20 Days.

We miss thee, Oh, our blessed father,

The Lord seen fit to call thee home;

Thy place can ne'er be filled by others,

So, through life's path we tread alone.

Our hearts are almost broken, dear,

We will surely miss you here;

But Jesus, Who knoweth all things best

Has called our father to his rest.
