Port McNicoll is a picturesque harbour town on Georgian Bay 90 minutes north of Toronto. Port McNicoll is the permanent home of 1,500 families plus thousands more who have summer cottages nearby. Port McNicoll was a major transportation hub a century ago but declined as Canada's railways and lake freighters lost out to trucking as the major means of shipping.
