OBITUARY: Nancy (McKiernan) Ball (b. abt 1820 in NY)

Marquette Tribune, Friday Nov. 30. 1894:

Died: Last Sunday recorded the death of Mrs. Nancy Ball, Mrs A.W. Tolksdorff's mother who has for some time been making her home at that place. Mrs. Ball had lived to see 77 years come and go. Funeral services were held from the house and she was buried in the Riverside Cemetery, Rev. Semans officiating. Mrs. Ball was a good woman and her death is mourned by her dear friends and relatives.

The contributor's header gives her maiden name McKiernan and "b. abt 1820 in NY"; the obituary itself says she "had lived to see 77 years," which against a November 1894 death implies a birth about 1817.
