Sister MARIA SNYDER, daughter of brother Jacob and sister Margaret Sprankle, and wife of brother David N. Snyder, was born Nov. 14, 1824, and died Jan. 9, 1869, aged 44 years, one month, and 25 days. She was the mother of nine children, five of whom are still living, and also one grandchild. She was a worthy sister in the church faithfully assisting her husband in his office as a deacon in the Canton church.
